1st Korean Film To Shoot in Fiji
On 2nd October, 2009, the first Korean film crew to shoot in Fiji arrived in Nadi to film the "honeymoon" scene for their full feature film which was shot in Korea. The scene was filmed mainly in Nasarawaqa, Bua. They also shot scenes in Nadi around the International Airport, Nadi Handicraft Market, Port Denarau, Hot Bread Kitchen, Wai Tui, Hard Rock Cafe, Captain Cook Cruises, Cardo's, Tanoa International Hotel and the general waterfront.

This was an independent production and the film's Director, Mr. Sung, is well known in Korea. The actors too are high profile in Asia generally. The film will be submitted to several film festivals, including Cannes.

The Korean film industry has a lot of influence over the whole of Asia and the reputation of its film market is also growing. The crew is optimistic that more Korean productions wil come to Fiji because of good locations, competitive incentives and friendly people.
