"Ghar Pardes", a film from the makers of "Adhura Sapna" will premiere in Fiji on January 23rd 2010 at Village Six Cinemas. The film, by producer Vimal Reddy of Unifocus Pictures is the story of a young Fiji girl who marries an Australian citizen and moves to live in Melbourne. This is the story of her trials and tribulations.

The film was shot in Nadi, Melboune and the Gold Coast. The actors in the film are Praneel Rajoria of Melbourne, formerly of Votualevu, Nadi, Pritash Dutt of Brisbane, formerly of Suva and Vijay Kumaran, formerly from Suva and now living in Melbourne.

Also in a special appearance is Ratu Rakuita Tawake of Uciwai Nadi who starred as JOna in Vimal Reddy's earlier film "Adhura Sapna".

The film's background score was provided by the Ustad Sashar family who recently won an award for Best Background Score in an Australian movie "Son of a Lion". Four songs in the film were recorded in Mumbai. One of the songs was sung by Pamela Jain who sung in many Bollywood films including the recent Amitabh Bacchan film "Sarkar Raj".
