"Eat, Play & Stay" Fiji Special
The Fiji Audio Visual Commission (FAVC) announced today that an Australian production company; "Late Night Media Productions" will be in Fiji to film a television program called "Eat, Play & Stay Fiji Islands Special" in September.

This award-winning travel & lifestyle TV series will visit a selection of resorts, restaurants and tourist attractions in Fiji to show Australian viewers just why Fiji is the ultimate destination to escape the stresses of everyday life and enoy some affordable pampering.

The series will feature some of Fiji's renown resorts such as Yasawa Island Resort, Smugglers Cove Resort, Plantation Island Rest, Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and some of the Denarau Marina restaurants such as Hard Rock Cafe, Indigo Blue and Bonefish, to name a few.

The program will air during season three of "Eat, Play & Stay" and will be screened on Foxtel/ Austar/ Optus Tv digital network on Aurora channel 183 which is available to 1.2 million Foxtel subscribers.

The FAVC's Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ms Florence Swamy, said "that because the TV series will be shot around a variety of locations in Fiji, our locations will receive excellent exposure on primetime TV". In addition alot of Fiji's breathtaking scenic locations will be highlighted in the production. She added that with millions of viewers watching the show, the exposure that Fiji receive will be immense. This will play a significant role in promoting Fiji to other potential producers as a film location and more importantly, given the locations/ properties that will be showcased, the promotion for tourism will be enormous.

The production will arrive on Saturday 4 September and will be in the country for 11 days.
